Easy to install, works just as expected. Less prominent than I feared when viewed in the rear view mirror.
I love the gecko wiper and happy when there’s rain like last night to use it effectively. Thanks for your hard word. I’ve been talking about my new rear wiper so much my kid made me a funny shirt for my birthday haha
And just today I parked at local ice rink charger and when I got to the car later another Ioniq 5 was there. The older gentleman was like “where did you get that rear wiper?! I want one and so does my brother”. You’ve made so many people happy with your hard work. Thx
Battery is still charged after 2 months. Easy install, and wow, what a powerful magnet. Visibility out the back is perfect. No complaints!
Fitted the GeckoWiper at the end of March and it was quick and easy, just as in the video. The wipe arc was a little asymmetric but an email to the team resulted in a return phone call from Robert who explained how to adjust it. You don't get after sales support like that every day!
The unexpected effect? It hasn't rained for 6 weeks since then (almost unheard of in the UK in spring) so I haven't actually tested it on the road yet. This is the opposite effect of cleaning the car!
For a great vehicle that has one glaring omission the Gecko wiper it is a game changer. Finally able to use the rear view mirror in the rain and will see how it works with snow. Hopefully it is solid and works for years. It would be nice to be able to adjust how many passes instead of pressing the remote each time although two passes has been enough so far. I don't know of anyone else who is making anything similar and IMHO a no brainer purchase for pre '25 Ioniq 5.
